Centurylink.net e-mail composition problem? anyone have any ideas how this works with windows 10?
The problem seems to be with the Windows 10 "Creators" update (version 1703) which is on my desktop. I can receive and read e-mails but cannot compose or send. I compared this to my laptop (for which I had the good sense to back out the 1703 version and retain the previous 1607 version) and found that it works just fine like before. A work-around with 1703 is to go into the e-mail Preferences - Composing and change Compose from "As HTML" to "As Text" which does not allow changes to font size and style but at least it works. Supposedly, CenturyLink is working on this problem.
To get everything to work like it did before "Creators", instead of using Edge use another browser like Google or Firefox.
