How to Shutdown Windows 10 machine via Command Prompt or Batch file (Working Version)

    So the normal shut down command doesnt seem to work on Windows 10. It seems to looop and loop until we are forced to stop it...

    Create a batch file and save the following code:

    @echo off
    "c:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe" /s /f /t 20

    S is for shutdown
    F is to force apps to close
    T is time so set that as you wish, or dont include it at all.

    That is it, you should be able to shut your windows 10 computer down via command prompt.
