How to uninstall windows 10 and roll back to windows 7 or windows 8.1 (depending on what you had installed previously)

If you have just upgraded your machine and your not happy with it you have 1 month to roll back to Windows 7 or 8.1 depending what you had installed before hand. This will take your machine back to the way it was before. If you had folders/software installed all these should be there.

If you have made a clean install there is no going back for you i'm afraid unless you make a clean install of Windows 7 or 8.1.

Follow these simple steps to roll back your windows 10 machine.

    1) login to your windows 10 machine
    2) Hit the start button and go to settings

    3) when settings has opened click "update and security"

    4) Select recovery to the left hand side
    5) To the right should be 3 titles "Rest this PC" this will re-install windows 10. We don't want this.
"Go back to Windows 8.1" this will say "Windows 7" if you upgraded from that. This is the one we want. So Click "get Started"

    6) Why are you going back pop up will be displayed so choose why and hit next

    8) " Dont get locked out box will pop up" click next (make sure you know your passwords)
9)Thanks for trying pop up box > if you definitely want to roll back click " go back to windows 8.1 or 7

    10) Your machine should start restarting and restoring Windows previous version

This will be the same if your rolling back to either Windows 7 or 8.1
